We’re looking for seasoned web developers who have shipped and maintained production web applications. You should understand web technologies inside and out and take pride in your craft. Exceptional candidates will have full-stack expertise, be comfortable architecting solutions from scratch, and enjoy setting up the infrastructure needed to deliver their work to the world. Be prepared to choose the right tool for the job, whether it’s Ruby on Rails or Phoenix, React or Vanilla JS, traditional web applications or micro-services – we use the latest and greatest where appropriate. Position is based in Dayton, OH.



  • Experience developing applications from scratch using Ruby on Rails
  • Ability to independently resolve issues from ticket to deploy
  • Comfortable communicating with everyone (other developers, clients, stakeholders, etc)
  • Ego-less and objective. You receive feedback well and can iterate on your code
  • Working knowledge of application infrastructure (AWS, Heroku, etc)


  • Experience with Elixir/Phoenix
  • Strong knowledge of AWS/DevOps
  • Experience with VueJS and/or React

UX & Product Design

Our team is looking for experienced individuals to help create clean and highly functioning products for our clients and their users. As a product designer at Origami Made, you’ll be part of the entire project lifecycle from start to finish. Expectations include contributions to all aspects of the UX process including research, wireframing/prototyping, and product management. This is a great role for someone who has had experience with the pace and variety of agency work, and wants to continue to grow their skillset with owning and managing products. Adaptability, a highly collaborative attitude, and a desire for continued growth is a must.



  • 3+ years of experience bringing digital products to life (ideally in an agency or consulting environment).

  • Ability to pitch, educate, and define your UX rationale to clients and stakeholders. You can articulate the ‘why’ and lead discussions around your process, explorations, and conclusions.

  • A solid portfolio of product work that can speak to your UX skills.

  • Prototyping and interaction design experience, ideally with Sketch and Invisionapp or similar.

  • Clear and open communication skills.

  • Ability to translate stakeholder goals, user research, and complex user flows into clean, usable UIs.

  • A solid and up to date understanding of best practices, developments and trends in web, mobile and iOS design.

  • Ego-less and objective. You receive feedback well and can iterate on your designs, no matter how attached to them you are.

  • Strong knowledge of UX principles and best practices, including understanding when and where user testing and research should be incorporated into the product design process.
